Galen C.K. Leong, a partner at Ashford & Wriston, has practiced with the firm since 1966.
Mr. Leong focuses his practice on land and condominium matters and estate planning. His experience includes:
- Leased fee sales as well as the purchase and sale of real property;
- Creation of numerous condominium property regimes;
- Serving as a consultant to the Real Estate Commission in the review of condominium projects, prior to the issuance of public reports;
- Serving as trustee of or advisor to various revocable and irrevocable trusts.
Mr. Leong participates in the management of the firm and serves on its Partnership Performance committee.
Community Activities:
Mr. Leong is active in the Hawai`i art community. He has served on the Boards of the Hawai`i Opera Theatre, Friends of Honolulu Botanical Gardens, Volcano Art Center at Hawai`i Volcanoes National Park, and PARTners. Mr. Leong has served The Contemporary Museum as President, and is now a member of the Board of Trustees.
