Paul S. Aoki, a partner at Ashford & Wriston, began practicing law in 1973 and joined the firm 1980.
Mr. Aoki focuses his practice on commercial litigation, real estate litigation, employment litigation, and labor arbitration. His experience includes:
- Representing landowners in condemnation cases;
- Representing plaintiffs and defendants in wrongful termination suits;
- Representing plaintiffs and defendants in actions involving contract and tort claims;
- Representing landowners in cases involving the Endangered Species Act.
- Serving as an arbitrator in disputes between labor unions and public and private employers.
Professional Activities:
Mr. Aoki is an arbitrator in the State Court Annexed Arbitration Program.
Professional Recognition:
Mr. Aoki has written for the local newspaper regarding the limitations on effectiveness of the Endangered Species Act.
Community Activities:
Mr. Aoki is member of the Boards of Trustees of the Queen's Health Systems, and Queens Medical Center. He was a former member of the Board of Directors of The Queen Emma Foundation and Kahuku Hospital.
